1) On 20 June 2013, Morgan Stanley, Wilmington, Delaware USA exceeded the
threshold of 5% of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1,
97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley held
5.04% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG (equals 6,962,016 voting
rights).
From these voting rights a proportion of 1.68% (equals 2,321,275 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG.
In addition, a proportion of 3.15% (equals 4,360,218 voting rights) is
