1) On June 11, 2014 Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA exceeded the threshold of 5% of
the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad
Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA held
5.0000007% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG (equals 6,911,601
voting rights).
From these voting rights a proportion of 5.0000007% (equals 6,911,601
voting rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG
and a proportion of 5.0000007% (equals 6,911,601 voting rights) is based on
(financial / other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the
voting rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion
of 5.0000007% (equals 6,911,601 voting rights) is held indirectly. Chain of
controlled undertakings: Fresenius Konzernfinanzierung Erste GmbH,
Fresenius Konzernfinanzierung Zweite GmbH. The instruments pursuant to
section 25 WpHG are rights that can be exercised anytime.
2) On June 11, 2014 Fresenius Management SE exceeded the threshold of 5% of
the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad
Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA held
5.0000007% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG (equals 6,911,601
voting rights).
From these voting rights a proportion of 5.0000007% (equals 6,911,601
voting rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG
and a proportion of 5.0000007% (equals 6,911,601 voting rights) is based on

held 5.0000007% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG (equals 6,911,601
voting rights).

voting rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG
