Companies in the Eidesvik Offshore ASA group have entered into an agreement with Equinor for extension of contracts for two platform supply vessels. The contract for Viking Avant has been extended through 2019, and the contract for Viking Energy has been extended through April 2020. The contracts are made at current market terms.
"Both vessels have been working for Equinor since delivered as newbuilds in 2004 and 2003, respectively, and we are very pleased that Equinor again show confidence in us through contract extensions" says CEO Jan Fredrik Meling.
