EMGS ASA - Share capital increase registered

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice published by Electromagnetic
Geoservices ASA (EMGS) on 9 June 2016 including the minutes from the Company's
Annual General Meeting (AGM). At the AGM it was resolved to increase the share
capital by NOK 1.25 in order to prepare for the share consolidation.

The share capital increase has been completed and registered with the Norwegian
Register of Business Enterprises.

The Company's new registered share capital is NOK 327,941,390, consisting of
1,311,765,560 shares with a par value of NOK 0.25 per share.
