Oslo, May 15th: Elektroimportøren today reports it’s results for the first quarter of 2025, marking the third consecutive quarter of growth in both revenue and profit. The positive development reflects broad-based momentum across the company’s business areas and geographical markets.
- We are pleased to deliver another positive quarter, with growth driven by both the B2C and B2B segments, says CEO Andreas Niss in Elektroimportøren. The quarter started with a strong push from our consumer business, while B2B picked up in the second half of the quarter. We are satisfied with this balance, underlining the robustness in our business model.
All major product categories contributed to growth, confirming that the development is not limited to isolated areas but reflects a healthy and resilient business across the board.
Strong Retail Traffic and New Stores Performing Well
Elektroimportøren has seen a notable increase in foot traffic to its physical stores, reflecting a more positive market sentiment and new stores. The three newly opened stores have delivered solid performance in their respective markets.
- Our store expansion strategy is clearly yielding results. It’s especially encouraging to see new locations contributing positively from the outset, says Niss.
Swedish Operations Gaining Momentum
The company’s Swedish operations continue to improve, with strong growth recorded in the first quarter.
- We are particularly pleased with the turnaround in Sweden. Even though we still have a way to go towards a break-even result, it’s a testament to the hard work of the local team and to the relevance of our offering in the Swedish market, says Niss.
Market Outlook
- The market remains uncertain, but we are seeing signs of optimism. Activity has been picking up in the professional sector, and we believe the consumer market will follow, assuming interest rate trends develop as forecasted, says Andreas Niss.
The results from Q1 will be presented at 09:00 CET by CEO Andreas Niss and CFO Jørgen Wist. The presentation can be followed in a live webcast, please join at:
