THIN - Share capital increase registered

Reference is made to prior notice regarding the share issue to existing and
former employees in Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm"), dated 29 February
2012.

Following receipt of payments, the share capital increase has been duly
registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. Following the
share capital increase, Thinfilm's registered share capital is NOK
33,530,099.46 divided into 304,819,086 ordinary shares each having a par value
of NOK 0.11.
