THIN - Share capital increase registered

Reference is made to prior notices regarding the exercise of Warrants B in Thin
Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") in the period 1 - 12 October 2012. Following
receipt of payments, the share capital increase has been registered in the
Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. The new shares will be delivered in
the VPS as soon as practical.

Thinfilm's registered share capital is now NOK 38,909,903.12 divided into
353,726,392 ordinary shares each having a par value of NOK 0.11. 12,500,000
Warrants remain outstanding (issued in connection with the private placement
resolved by the board 12 March 2012), exercisable in the period 11 to 22 March
2013 at an exercise price per share of NOK 2.20.
