THIN - Annual Report and Financial Statements 2011, Annual General Meeting 2012

The board of directors of Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") approved the
annual report and the annual financial statements for 2011 on 13 April 2012. The
report and the financial statements are in accordance with the interim report
dated 28 February 2012. The board does not propose a dividend. The annual report
and financial statements for 2011 are enclosed to this notice and are also
available at the company's web site: www.thinfilm.no.

The board resolved to call the annual general meeting to be held on 10 May 2012
for consideration and resolution of the usual matters and also the proposed
issue of warrants as outlined in connection with the private placement on 12
March 2012. The notice of the annual general meeting will be issued in due
course.
