THIN - Notice of Annual General Meeting 10 May 2012

The Annual General Meeting of Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") will be
held Thursday 10 May 2012 at 09:00 (CET), at Thon Conference Vika Atrium,
Munkedamsveien 45, Oslo, Norway.

Please find enclosed the complete notices including attendance forms (in English
and in Norwegian). Shareholders wishing to attend the Annual General Meeting, in
person or by proxy, are requested to complete one of the enclosed attendance
forms. The attendance form must be received by the registrar DNB Bank ASA at the
latest by 7 May 2012 at 16.00 (CET).

At 09:30 or after the Annual General Meeting has been adjourned, the CEO, Davor
P. Sutija, will give a presentation of Thin Film Electronics ASA, the prospects
of printed electronics and applications of the Company's printed memory
technology and products. The presentation will be open to the press and the
general public.
