Havila Kystruten Operations AS, which is the operating company in Havila Kystruten AS group, has today received a pleading to Møre og Romsdal Tingrett submitted by Norwegian Marine Interior AS as claimant and concerning “collection of outstanding amounts”.
It appears from the claim that the outstanding amounts is originating from the contract between Norwegian Marine Interior AS and the shipbuilder Tersan in Turkey.
The total amount of the claim from the claimant is NOK 7,014,675.56 and EUR 819,897.45 with the addition of legal costs.
Havila Kystruten Operations AS is refusing the claim, and is alleging that since the claim is according to the contract between the claimant and the yard, the claim cannot be addressed to Havila Kystruten Operations AS.
Havila Kystruten Operations AS will act as required under the current situation.
Tersan yard has informed Havila Kystruten AS about ongoing activities to prevent further delays following the Norwegian Marine Interior AS failure to perform their contractual obligations towards the yard.
