IDEX agrees terms on a global partnership in mobile communications

IDEX ASA has agreed a term sheet with a global partner serving the mobile
communications market.

IDEX and a global partner serving the mobile communications market have agreed
on a term sheet where the terms and contents cannot be disclosed.

"After securing agreements in both the ID and card market as well as the
embedded market in the fourth quarter of 2012, IDEX has worked hard to team up
with a strategic partner in the mobile market. We see strong interest from the
mobile market at the moment, and we are excited to have reached a framework
agreement with a strong global partner serving that market," said CEO Ralph W.
Bernstein in IDEX.

Based on the term sheet, IDEX has started technical collaboration activities
with the global partner, including the immediate dispatch of a technology
package for review and development purposes.

In tandem IDEX and its global partner are working to finalise the formal,
comprehensive agreement.
