Integrated Wind Solutions ASA (“IWS”) has through its subsidiary, IWS Fleet AS (“IWS Fleet”), taken delivery of its fifth Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (“CSOV”), IWS Moonwalker, from the shipyard China Merchants Industry Holdings Co., Ltd and the vessel is currently en route to Europe.
The vessel, which was ordered in January 2023, was delivered in line with the original yard price of approximately EUR 52.5 million.
IWS Moonwalker is a state-of-the-art CSOV, purpose-built to provide services to offshore wind farms. It is the fifth in a series of six identical sister vessels, with the final vessel also scheduled for delivery in 2025.
Furthermore, IWS Fleet has secured a 200-day fixed charter contract plus options for IWS Moonwalker with an existing client. The charter will commence in September 2025, following the vessel's arrival in Europe.
