InterOil Peru has experienced unexpected high depletion by some of the wells in
the Mirador area, but the production has now stabilized. InterOil started the
drilling of two new wells in the Mirador area in Peru in the end of March. One
of the wells is a production well whilst the second well is a step-out to the
North of the field in order to identify a potential extension of Mirador South.
So far the initial result of this well is positive. We expect to complete these
two wells within the next couple of weeks. In Colombia the first exploration
well, Altair-1, is being drilled on the Altair license. The initial result from
the well is expected during the second half of May 2010.
Oil has been sold at average sales price of USD 76.86 in Peru and USD 72.28 in
Colombia per barrel during March.
