COLOMBIAN LICENSE ROUND 2010

In relation to the Colombian license round 2010, InterOil is pleased to announce
that the Colombian Hydrocarbon Agency (ANH) has published a preliminary
eligibility list of operators. On this list InterOil has been ranked as the
preferred operator of three licenses. The decision by ANH is subject to final
approval by the Directive Council of the ANH. The final outcome will be
presented to Interoil in July 2010.
