NOTICE FROM MUNICIPAL COURT

InterOil Exploration & Production ASA (IOX) has today been informed by the
Municipal Court of Asker and Bærum (Asker og Bærum Tingrett) that Petrominerales
Ltd. has obtained a temporary injuction whereby the capital increase will not be
permitted implemented. This may cause a serious problem for the Company and
could result in a delay of the financial restructuring already approved by the
banks and bondholders, the board of directors and the General Assembly.

The Company did not have the opportunity to be heard and will appeal this ruling
immediately.
