DGAP-News: Salzgitter AG / Key word(s): Financing
Salzgitter Klöckner-Werke GmbH places its debut bonded loan of EUR 200 million – Salzgitter AG uses bonded loan to further optimize its financing structure – Investors show lively interest despite difficult industry environment Salzgitter Klöckner-Werke GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Salzgitter AG, has successfully issued its first bonded loan in an overall volume of EUR 200 million. The bond, denominated in the two currencies of euro and US dollar, was placed by Lead Arranger Bayerische Landesbank, Commerzbank AG, Deutsche Bank AG, NORD/LB Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale and UniCredit Bank AG with a very international group of investors. The volume is divided into fixed and variable tranches in three, five and seven years. The huge interest of international investors who contributed a share of more than 50% to the overall volume was particularly pleasing. The initial average interest across all tranches amounts to around 1.8% p.a. Disbursement is carried out on the value date of April 5, 2016. Chief Executive Officer Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heinz Jörg Fuhrmann commented as follows: “Given the currently difficult industry environment, we are very happy with the transaction. We intend to use the funds gained from this transaction to finance our international growth, among other measures.” Contact: Markus Heidler Head of Investor Relations Salzgitter AG Eisenhüttenstraße 99 38239 Salzgitter Phone +49 5341 21-6105 Fax +49 5341 21-2570 E-Mail ir@salzgitter-ag.de
