Bergen, Norway, January 12, 2024 – M Vest Water (EURONEXT: MVW) today announced that it has signed a contract for delivery of water treatment equipment to Downstream Marine AS (DSM), Norway.
The equipment is to be delivered to a salmon slaughterhouse in Norway and comprises a flotation unit and a system designed for dosing of our natural water treatment chemical NORWAFLOC®.
The treatment plant is planned to be operational within the end of Q2 - 2024 and MVW equipment delivery has a total contract value of approx. NOK 3-4 million.
The excellent collaboration with DSM has resulted in four repeated equipment deliveries. This positions MVW as the preferred supplier of BAT solutions for wastewater treatment at salmon slaughterhouses.
“Yet another customer is making the necessary investments to prepare its process plant for chemical treatment of blood water to meet the new restricted discharge regulations in Norway. Upon plant startup this summer MVW also expects additional recurring revenues from NORWAFLOC® sales,” comments MVW’s CEO Stein Giljarhus.
