Fourth quarter and preliminary result for 2009 for MediStim ASA

MediStim had a 72 % growth in profit before tax for
the year 2009 to MNOK 37.2. The company's new
product, VeriQC, the new ultrasound imaging product,
was introduced in Europe in fourth quarter and the 5
first systems were sold after the introduction. All
the filing for VeriQC in Japan was done in 2009 and
the company received the necessary approval for
VeriQC in January 2010.

The Board suggests a dividend of NOK 0.90 per share
where NOK 0.15 is extraordinary dividend related to
MediStims 25 year anniversary. The Board also
suggests amortization of 523.989 of own shares.
