Mandatory notification of trade

Geveran Trading Co Ltd, which is indirectly controlled by trusts established by
John Fredriksen for the benefit of his immediate family, has extended TRS
agreements relating to 20 million shares in Marine Harvest ASA. The new
expiration of the TRS agreements is March 17th 2011. The exercise price on the
agreements is NOK 5.9561 per share. Geveran Trading's affiliated ownership in
Marine Harvest ASA is following this transaction unchanged 829,632,775 shares,
constituting 23.21 percent of the issued share capital. In addition Geveran
Trading hold TRS agreements with a net exposure to 70 million shares in Marine
Harvest ASA.
