Nordic Semiconductor ASA: Nordic Semiconductor ASA's Third Quarter 2014 Results.

Oslo, October 16, 2014: Nordic Semiconductor ASA
reported third quarter 2014 record revenues of MUSD
49 and EBIT of MUSD 9.8, compared to last quarter
with revenues of MUSD 41.4 and EBIT of MUSD 5.7

Revenues were at a record high for Nordic
Semiconductor this quarter. This is attributed to
higher sales volumes of Bluetooth Smart components.
Sales of Bluetooth Smart Technology rose to a 38% of
revenues in the quarter. Q-o-Q revenues from the
sales of Bluetooth Smart increased from MUSD 12.2 to
MUSD 18.4, representing a 51% increase. Our EBIT
result of MUSD 9.8 was very strong, claiming a second-
best in Nordic operations.

Before tax profits were MUSD 10.2 in the third
quarter, compared to MUSD 5.9 million in the previous
quarter.

Basic and diluted EPS from total operations was USD
0.043 in the third quarter, compared to USD 0.025 in
the previous quarter.

growth in the demand for our products, and especially
our ground breaking Bluetooth® Smart wireless
technology products. Important design wins within all
market segments makes us confident that we will be
able to triple our revenues from Bluetooth® Smart in
2014 compared to last year", says Svenn-Tore Larsen,
CEO of Nordic Semiconductor ASA.
