Nordic Semiconductor ASA Reported Fourth Quarter 2015
revenues of MUSD 46.5 and EBIT of MUSD 10.8, compared
to revenues of MUSD 45.2 and EBIT of MUSD 5.5 in Q4
2014. Nordic has during Q4 2015 transferred all
employees that were on a defined benefit plan to a
defined contribution plan. This resulted in a non-
recurring income (de-recognition of pension
liabilities) of MUSD 7 reported in Q4 2015. Excluding
this one-time income, Q4 2015 EBIT was MUSD 3.8.
Bluetooth Smart sales grew to MUSD 28.7 (61.7% of Q4
2015 Revenues), compared to MUSD 22.9 (50.7% of Q4
2014 Revenues). Before tax profits were MUSD 10.3,
compared to MUSD 6.8 in Q4 2014.
Basic and diluted EPS from total operations was USD
0.039, compared to USD 0.037 in Q4 2014.
Past period adjustment on inventory valuation impacted
historical gross profits. Further explained in Note 5
of the Quarter Report.
