Nordic Semiconductor mid-quarter update for Q2 2017

Nordic Semiconductor mid-quarter update for Q2 2017:

- Maintaining H1 2017 guidance on revenue, Bluetooth growth
and gross margin

- Launched the third nRF52 Series SoC, the nRF52810, a lower
power, smaller size and lower cost single-chip Bluetooth 5
SoC solution for less complex applications

- Successful demo of the upcoming nRF91 Series low power
cellular IoT solution to a strategic technology partner

Nordic maintains its H1 2017 guidance on revenue range of
MUSD 100 to 107, Bluetooth growth range of 30% to 40% and
gross margin range of 46% to 47%, offered at the Q4 2016
presentation and later re-iterated at the Q1 2017
presentation.

On June 7th Nordic launched its third nRF52 Series SoC, the
nRF52810. The new nRF52810, a baseline Bluetooth 5 SoC,
complements the mainstream nRF52832 and the higher-end
nRF52840 SoCs with a lower power, smaller size and lower
cost single-chip SoC solution for less complex applications.
Nordic has already secured multiple design wins for the
nRF52810 and expect to ramp volume production late 2017.

In mid-May Nordic successfully demoed end-to-end LTE-M
connectivity with its first fully integrated nRF91 Series
chipset to strategic technology partner. Development and
testing continues to progress according to plan and Nordic
remains on track to start certification testing and sampling
to lead customers in H2 2017.
