Nordic Semiconductor today announces that its nRF9160™ System-in-Package (SiP) for multimode LTE-M/NB-IoT with assisted GPS has been certified for operation on U.S. telecom company Verizon’s LTE-M networks. Verizon is one of the largest telecoms companies in the U.S. and certification in this giant North American market from a leading firm is a major milestone for the nRF91.

The nRF9160 is now in volume production and is available from Nordic Semiconductor’s extensive distributor network.
