Nordic Unmanned today published its Annual Report for 2022
Key highlights of 2022
* Nordic Unmanned reported a consolidated operating income of EUR 17 million in
2022, compared to EUR 9.2 million in 2021, an increase of 85%.
* The Group had a negative EBITDA of EUR 9 million in 2022 compared to a
negative EUR 5.3 million in 2021.
* Raised NOK 155 million in equity from new and existing shareholders through
private placements in June and December.
* Nordic Unmanned acquired a 55% share of the Belgian drone company
DroneMatrix.
* AirRobot, the Nordic Unmanned subsidiary won its largest contract ever for
the delivery of novel and modular AR-100 drones to the German armed forces of
EUR 7.5 million plus MRO services over the next 10 years.
* On the 21st of October, Nordic Unmanned was awarded the OP/5 contract with
the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA), with a value of up to EUR 20.5
million.
* On the 16th of December, Nordic Unmanned UK Ltd received a 10-year framework
contract from Lockheed Martin UK Ltd for the delivery of the Heimdal sensor
and software with a contract value expected to exceed EUR 5 million in 2023.
The sensors are manufactured by AirRobot.
* Simplification of organization and reduction of cost base started.
