Announcement of price increases on magazine paper in Europe

Norske Skog has today announced price increase of EUR 35 per tonne on SC and CMR
magazine paper grades. The price increase will be applied from 1 April.

Norske Skog is producing SC magazine paper at the Norske Skog Saugbrugs mill in
Norway, and CMR at Norske Skog Follum in Norway, Norske Skog Walsum in Germany
and Norske Skog Bruck in Austria. The total annual production capacity is
550 000 tonnes SC and 850 000 tonnes CMR.
