Reference is made to the press release dated 14 July 2023 regarding initiation of the share repurchase programme in Norske Skog ASA (“Norske Skog”).
Under the share repurchase programme, Norske Skog has today 8 September 2023 purchased 115 835 shares and in aggregate under the repurchase programme purchased a total of 4 753 432 shares in Norske Skog, corresponding to 5.04% of the total outstanding shares.
In accordance with the authorisation from the annual general meeting (“AGM”), the maximum number of shares that can be repurchased is 9 426 470 shares, equivalent to 10% of the share capital in Norske Skog ASA.
The shares repurchased under the repurchase programme will be redeemed (i.e., cancelled), subject to approval by the AGM in 2024.
