OCEANTEAM ASA - CEO HALBESMA TAKES OVER CFO TASKS

Offshore service provider Oceanteam ASA, the Norwegian-Dutch company with a
listing on the Oslo stock exchange, announces that CEO Haico Halbesma is
assuming the tasks of CFO until further notice. Current CFO Torbjorn Skulstad
has been forced to relinquish his tasks due to illness.

Halbesma, who previously worked as the company's CFO, says in a brief note to
the announcement: "We had already arranged the financial tasks differently back
in late May, but now that Torbjorn is likely to be absent for longer than
expected, I will assume his tasks with support from an interim group controller.
We believe it is important to provide clarity on the matter for both our
internal and external stakeholders."

In line with the previously published Financial Calendar, Oceanteam ASA will
publish its Q2 results as scheduled on 25 August 2016.
