Mandatory notification of trade - employee shares 2010

We refer to the notice to the Oslo Stock Exchange dated 1 November 2010
regarding Orkla's offer to its employees to buy Orkla-shares. Today, on 9
December 2010, Orkla transferred 1,525,490 Orkla-shares to its employees.

After this transaction Orkla owns 7?522?325 Orkla-shares. ?

The total number of options issued in Orkla shares is

 20,652, 000.

 In addition Orkla has a hedge through a cash-settled financial derivative of
600,000 underlying shares related to the option programmes.
