Disclosure of shareholding of Petroleum Geo-Services

On February 24, 2012, Wellington Management Company,
LLP ("Wellington Management") on behalf of its client
accounts, sold 118,176 shares of Petroleum Geo-
Services ASA.

After the transaction, clients managed by Wellington
Management being consolidated under the Securities
Trading Act Section 2-5, hold on a consolidated basis
21,756,756 votes and shares in Petroleum Geo-
Services ASA equal to 9.99 per cent of the total
issued votes and shares in Petroleum Geo-
Services ASA. No individual client holds 5 per cent
or more of the votes and shares in Petroleum Geo-
Services ASA.
