PHOTOCURE - REPURCHASE PROGRAM OF OWN SHARES

Oslo, Norway, 5 December 2011:

According to the resolution made by the Annual General Meeting on 27 April
2011, the Board of Directors of Photocure ASA was given Power of Attorney to
acquire own shares in connection with employee share purchase program. In
accordance with the resolution, the Board of Directors of Photocure ASA has
decided to acquire up to 250 000 shares.

The repurchase program will be initiated today, and will be carried out in
accordance with the resolution from the Annual General Meeting. For more details
