SHARE BUY BACK

Protector Forsikring ASA has on 24 September
purchased 955,782 own shares at an average price of
NOK 9,6998 per share. After the transaction,
Protector Forsikring ASA owns 3,570,661 own shares,
representing 4.14% of the total outstanding shares.

The transaction is in accordance with the
authorization to the Board of Directors to acquire
the company's own shares, as resolved in the Annual
General Meeting held 21 April 2010.
