The Swedish Competition Authority performed a control in
Protector's Swedish branch on April 4, 2017, with the purpose of
examine whether the Swedish branch has participated in anti-
competitive agreements in the insurance market in Sweden.
Equivalent controls are carried out in several other companies in
the Swedish market.
The control seems to be grounded in a complaint and to be related
to competition in tendering processes.
Protector ASA assumes that the Competition Authority will need some
time to carry out the control and conclude on the matter. Protector
will of course cooperate with the authorities in order to
facilitate this.
