We refer to the stock market announcement of April 4th 2017 regarding the Swedish Competition Authority’s control in Protector Forsikring ASA’s Swedish office, with the purpose of examine whether the Swedish branch has participated in anti-competitive agreements in the insurance market in Sweden. Equivalent controls have been carried out in several other companies in the Swedish market.
The Swedish Competition Authority has decided to drop the case against Protector, and state that they, following an overall assessment of what has emerged in the investigations, have chosen to drop the case against Protector. The Swedish Competition Authority's decision to drop the case against Protector cannot be appealed.
