DARS d.d. has awarded the consortium Q-Free ASA and Telekom Slovenije the
contract for a Nationwide Truck Tolling System in Slovenia. The order value for
Q-Free is approximately NOK 470 million of a total contract value of
approximately NOK 940 million.
DARS - Druzba za Avtoceste v Republiki Sloveniji is a joint stock Motorway
Company that builds, manages and maintains motorways on behalf of the Republic
of Slovenia.
The Q-Free scope comprises System Delivery inclusive Enforcement Back Office,
Tags and Service and maintenance.
Telekom Slovenije is a leading partner in the consortium. It is a comprehensive
communication service provider in Slovenia and is recognised as the leader in
the introduction and connection of new generations of mobile and fixed
communication services, system integration, cloud computing services and
multimedia content.
The delivery period has a duration of one year from signing of the contract,
followed by a service and maintenance period of 10 years, with an option to
extend the service and maintenance period with additional three years.
