Reference is made to the announcement "Assessment of Strategic Alternatives" on
13 January 2019, where the Board of Directors of Q-Free ASA communicated that it
is running a process to identify and explore various strategic alternatives for
the company.
One such alternative has been to pursue certain strategic and
structural opportunities. Although constructive,
these discussions have now been terminated.
The Board remains confident that the restructuring and cost optimization done
over the past couple of years combined with Q-Free's strong order backlog and
attractive contract pipeline will generate profitable growth and create
substantial shareholder value. Q-Free intends to take an active part in
developing strong positions in selected ITS segments going forward.
