Green Reefers to join Hamburg Reefer Pool

The Hamburg Reefer Pool NV and Green Reefers ASA are
pleased to announce that as per 1 August 2010 Green
Reefers-operated vessels will join the recently
established Hamburg Reefer Pool. The Green Reefers'
fleet of 27 specialised reefer vessels ranges from
263,000 to 310,000 cubic feet.

The Hamburg Reefer Pool was established 1 May 2010 by
Alpha Reefer Pool GmbH and Seatrade Group N.V. to
provide competitive and commercially attractive
specialised refrigerated cargo services to shippers
in response to increased competition from reefer
containers, with all commercial activities handled
independently by the newly established HRC Hamburg
Reefer Chartering GmbH. Green Reefers will hold an
ownership of 1/3 in each of Hamburg Reefer Pool and
Hamburg Reefer Chartering.

With the addition of the Green Reefers vessels, the
Hamburg Reefer Pool will now consist of 110 vessels
in the range of 180,000-356,000 cubic feet, and HRC
Hamburg Reefer Chartering GmbH will be able to offer
its customers an even wider variety of quality
tonnage to meet their specific needs.

This cooperation is a further step in the
consolidation and restructuring that has been taking
place throughout the shipping industry, including the
reefer industry, over the past decade.
