Haugesund, 27 August 2025 – Reach Subsea ASA announces that Birgitte Wendelbo Johansen has resigned as CFO as she will assume a new position with another company.
Birgitte Johansen has been with Reach Subsea and held the position as CFO for 13 years.
”Birgitte has done an excellent job as CFO of Reach Subsea and I would like to express my gratitude for her dedication from the company’s modest beginning with a handful employees, to its current position with more than 500 employees and annual revenues approaching NOK 3 billion”, says Jostein Alendal, CEO of Reach Subsea.

Reach Subsea further announces that Wendelbo Johansen’s replacement is confirmed.
Arne Joa will assume the role as Reach Subsea’s CFO starting 01 September 2025, providing ample time for a thorough handover process. Joa holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration (siviløkonom) from Handelshøyskolen BI. He has extensive experience in finance, banking and offshore industries, with roles including Investment Director, and most recently, CEO of K. LUND Offshore AS.
