SalMar - Acquisition of minority shares in SalMar Rauma AS
SalMar has today, 22 March 2013, entered into an agreement to acquire all of the
893,533 minority shares in SalMar Rauma AS. The minority shares account for
24.46% of the total shares in SalMar Rauma AS, after the transaction SalMar
holds 100% of the shares in the company. SalMar Rauma AS has 8 licenses for
salmon farming in Central Norway (county of Møre & Romsdal) in addition to
activities within roe and smolt production. SalMar Rauma AS also owns 51% of
Vikenco AS, a company engaged in primary processing and VAP activities. Purchase
price for the shares is set to NOK 69.7 million.
