Scana signs contract with Alfing Kessler

Scana Industrier ASA has through its subsidiary Scana Steel Björneborg AB signed
a two year contract with Maschinenfabrik Alfing Kessler GMBH concerning supply
of forged round bars. Value of the contract is estimated to 55 MSEK per year.

Alfing Kessler is based in Germany and is a market leader in the supply of
quality engineered large crankshafts up to 8m length and 900mm diameter.

- Scana Steel Björneborg has a long history as a supplier to Alfing Kessler, who
requires consistently high quality forged steel for their crankshafts. The
contract is  important as it contributes to a good base line activity for
Björneborg, CEO Rolf Roverud in Scana Industrier ASA says.

Scana sees this long term cooperation and the new contract as a recognition that
Scana Steel Björneborg is a world class steel supplier of forged products.
