Scatec Solar ASA: Annual accounts and proposed dividend

Oslo, March 20, 2017: The Board of Directors of Scatec Solar ASA ('SSO') has
resolved the annual accounts and annual report for the financial year 2016. The
annual accounts were resolved without changes from the preliminary results
published on January 27, 2017.

The Board of Directors of Scatec Solar ASA ('SSO') has furthermore resolved to
propose to the annual general meeting a dividend of NOK 0.71 per share (based on
93,816,230 shares outstanding).

The annual general meeting will be held April 24, 2017. The company's shares are
traded on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
