Scatec Solar ASA: Sale of shares by primary insider

Oslo, November 1, 2017: Executive Vice President & General Counsel Snorre
Valdimarsson, has today sold 275,000 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, at a price per
share of NOK 45.

After the transaction and as of the date hereof, Executive Vice President &
General Counsel Snorre Valdimarsson owns 67,261 share options in Scatec Solar
ASA.

The reason for the sale of shares is to finance tax, repayment of debt, as well
as finance the acquisition of two properties.
