Scatec Solar ASA: Notice of the annual general meeting April 23, 2018

Oslo, March 23, 2018: Scatec Solar ASA ('SSO') calls for the annual general
meeting of SSO to be held at Høyres Hus, Stortingsgata 20, 0161 Oslo, Norway on
April 23, 2018 at 09:00 (CET).

The board has inter alia proposed that the general meeting resolves a dividend
of NOK 0.78 per share. Pursuant to the board's proposal, the dividend shall
accrue to the Company's shareholders as they appear in the Company's shareholder
register in the VPS on April 25, 2018, being the Company's shareholders at the
date of the general meeting based on regular T+2 settlement. The Company's
shares will trade on Oslo Stock Exchange exclusive the right to receive dividend
as from April 24, 2018. The dividend is expected to be paid on or about May
15, 2018.

The notice convening the general meeting, including the agenda and the board's
proposals to the matters to be dealt with, is enclosed with this notification
and will be sent to all shareholders with known addresses.
