Notification of trade

Vindbalen AS, which is 100 % owned by CEO Lars Peder
Solstad in Solstad Offshore ASA, acquired 20th March
2012 a total of 30,000 shares in Solstad Offshore ASA
at a price of NOK 102 per share. Vindbalen AS owns
after this acquisition a total of 30 375 shares in
Solstad Offshore ASA.

Vindbalen AS owns 25 % of the shares of Ivan AS and
6.5 % of the shares of Ivan II AS. Ivan AS and Ivan
II AS, directly and indirectly, control 18 126 268
shares (46.85 %) in Solstad Offshore ASA. In
addition Solstad Invest AS, a company controlled by
Ivan AS, own 23% of the shares of Solstad Invest X
AS. Solstad Invest X AS own 583 080 (1.46%) shares
in Solstad Offshore ASA.
