Re information released 19.07.21 and 22.07.21. 18th of July there was an incident at the company´s site at Stokkeneset, with mortality of 48.000 fish in 2 of 3 pens in operation.
All relevant tests show negative results for diseases, and there is no indication of any other biological circumstances.
As already communicated in earlier released information, based on the way the fish have died, the incident can only be explained by an external factor, most likely a large predator that has frightened the fish.
Such accidents are regarded as very rare and is not connected to a specific species of fish farming.
The incident will not result in any change or delay in the company´s plans and ambitions.
