Veidekke ASA: Arcona to build hotel in Sickla in Stockholm

Veidekke's Swedish subsidiary Arcona has signed an agreement with the property
company Atrium Ljungberg to build a hotel in Sickla, Stockholm. The agreement,
with an estimated order value of SEK 300 million, constitutes the third phase of
the development of Tapetfabriken in Sickla.
"We are excited that Atrium Ljungberg has entrusted us with the construction of
the new hotel at Tapetfabriken in Sickla, and look forward to developing Sickla
into a modern meeting place in collaboration with Atrium Ljungberg", said Mikael
Wemming, business manager at Arcona.

Tapetfabriken is a newbuild with a gross floor area of 15 000 m2. In addition to
offices, the building comprises a 156-room hotel operated by Nordic Choice
Hotels, as well as a restaurant and bar. Tapetfabriken is located in the heart
of Sickla, with access from Marcusplatsen and in close vicinity of shops,
offices, restaurants, etc. Following the decision to extend the subway to Sickla
by 2025, this is an area of great development potential.

The new agreement, which builds on the agreement signed by Arcona and Atrium
Ljungberg in June 2017 regarding the development of Tapetfabriken, is a
collaboration agreement which comprises the entire implementation of the
construction contract.

"We have chosen to continue our cooperation on the Tapetfabriken project because
of Arcona's extensive hotel construction and collaboration project experience,"
said Niklas Hesselvall, project manager at Atrium Ljungberg.

Arcona has built several hotels, and among those completed over the past few
years are Quality Hotel Globen, Scandic Grand Central, Haymarket City Scandic
and the recently completed Downtown Camper City Scandic.
