Veidekke: Building homes for OBOS in Ålesund

Veidekke has been commissioned by OBOS Nordvest Utbygging AS to construct the
Vindgårdsvingen project with 43 specially adapted apartments at Moa in Ålesund.
The turnkey contract is worth NOK 116 million excluding VAT.

- We have had a good collaboration with OBOS on the development of the project
since 2023. Therefore, it is very pleasing that we can now finally start the
construction work, and we are grateful for the trust and for the assignment,
says District Manager Stig Mork in Veidekke Bygg Møre og Romsdal.

The Vindgårdsvingen project consists of a four-story apartment building with 43
two- and three-room apartments from 46 to 92 m2 plus underground parking. Those
who buy an apartment must have a decision on municipal health services from
Ålesund Municipality, such as a security alarm or home service. The apartments
are basically completely ordinary homes that you find in new OBOS projects. In
addition, they are equipped with practical solutions that help make everyday
life at home a little safer and easier.

Construction work will start in September with planned occupancy in the second
quarter of 2027. The contract will be included in Veidekke's order backlog for
the third quarter of 2025.
