Wilhelmsen Maritime Services AS (100% owned by Wilh.
Wilhelmsen Holding ASA) confirms that the agreement,
as announced 23 June (link below), to merge Wilhelmsen
Technical Solutions and the safety products and
services in Wilhelmsen Ship Service with Survitec
Group Ltd was completed on 30 November 2016.
"By combining complementary solutions and services
from both organisations, we aim to create a total
safety partner for the industry" says Thomas
Wilhelmsen, group CEO at Wilhelmsen.
Wilhelmsen will hold a 20% stake in Survitec Group and
have a seat on the board. This will ensure a continued
and significant involvement in a key market driven by
regulatory requirements.
