ATOSS wins an order from AOL Deutschland
Linux version in use for the first time
Munich, June 8, 2000 – ATOSS Software AG, Munich,
which specialises in the strategic management of
work and time, has been awarded an important order
by AOL Deutschland. In future AOL will manage the
hours worked by its call-center employees in Gemany
with ATOSS Software. These call-centers with 1.000
employees are one of the largest in Germany. Having
placed this contract, AOL Deutschland is likewise
banking on the strategic management of work and
time (SMWT) in future and on the latest ATOSS
technology. The new Linux version of the ATOSS
products is being used for the first time.
By supplying its Linux version, ATOSS is
underlining its position as a technological leader
once more, and is achieving another milestone by
implementing its strategic objectives set for this
year according to plan.
“We have observed,” explained the chairman of the
executive board, Andreas F. J. Obereder, “that the
market has recognized the enormous potential of
SMWT for increasing productivity, staff motivation
and customer focus. According to the latest
empirical studies, 36% of time spent working are
currently spent unproductively in Germany. Far more
than 40% of this loss is attributable to a lack of
management and planning of human resources.” At
present, with its software and consultancy
solutions for strategic management of work and time
ATOSS is the only company offering a a holistic
methodology for constant optimization and planning
of human resources. In doing so, ATOSS Software AG
can give its clients significant competitive
advantages.
