ATOSS Receives Important Order from Sixt to Implement
Its e:time Business Solution
Munich, October 16, 2000 – ATOSS Software AG, Munich,
which is listed on the Neuer Markt and is a specialist
for Strategic Work and Time Management (SWTM), has
received an important order from SIXT AG in Pullach.
Sixt will use the software developed by ATOSS AG in
order to manage approximately 5,000 employees. The
Pullach car renter will thus not only implement the
software at company headquarters or its German
offices, but successively incorporate all of its
European subsidiaries. France and Great Britain will
follow after the software is introduced into Germany,
Austria and Switzerland. Great Britain enjoys a
special position as one of the largest of the European
companies.
By accompanying its clients abroad, ATOSS AG will be
able to enhance another important component in its
strategy of internationalisation that has been
introduced with great success.
Moreover, Sixt is one of the company’s first major
customers to employ the multilingual e:time business
solution from ATOSS AG which is programmed
entirely in Java. Thus users are able to access the
software anywhere in the world in order to control,
analyse and optimise workforce deployment online
via the Internet or intranet, regardless of the
platform.
In addition, Sixt AG will employ this workforce
deployment product for a call centre in Germany where
200 staff are employed.
With its combination of e-business software technology
and a brand of consulting that is oriented toward
business processes, ATOSS Sofware AG offers the first
integrated corporate solution to efficient workforce
deployment and the Sixt AG order once again
underscores its leading position when it comes to
technology.
The Munich software specialists expect that the
business trend in future will continue to be positive
as the demand from internationally operating concerns
for Internet-capable solutions – in particular for
Strategic Work and Time Management – continues to
increase.
