Account
Munich, December 20, 2000 ATOSS Software AG, Munich (WKN
510440), just received an important order from Europe’s
leading regional airline, Crossair AG of Switzerland. ATOSS
is listed on the Neuer Markt, and is a leading supplier of
IT-solutions in the area of staff efficiency management.
Crossair, based in Basel, joins Lufthansa German Airlines,
Lufthansa France, the German railway operators Deutsche Bahn
AG and the auto rental agency Sixt AG, in entrusting ATOSS
e:fficiency suite, which has already been implemented by a
large group of transportation providers and is saving them
millions thanks to the analysis, planning and management of
its personnel.
Crossair will manage its entire ground staff at the company
headquarters located within the facilities of the 3-nation
Euro Airport Basel-Mulhouse-Fribourg, and therefore, among
others, its technical services and administration
departments via ATOSS software. Since this software is also
ideal for decentralized utilization, the implementation will
also cover the company’s operations at the Bern airport and
in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, at the Lugano
airport.
In addition, ATOSS Resource Allocation software will
coordinate the scheduling of personnel at one of the most
modern call centers in Europe. To work effectively, the
system must not only take employee availability into account,
but also the wide range of qualifications involved.
ATOSS AG’s software is an information and optimization tool
that enables management to ensure the planning of the right
number of staff with the skills required to meet the demands
of the ever-changing work load and flex-time options
available to employees.
Especially the transportation and service industry, that must
provide its customers with 24/7 service, is an industry that
demands extremely high levels of efficient human resources
deployment. Its need for intelligent software solutions in
the area of staff efficiency management will continue to grow
and will become a decisive element in securing competitive
strength.
This account further establishes ATOSS Software AG on the
Swiss market. The company plans to expand its activities in
this country in the future along with the
internationalization of the ATOSS Group.
